About Davis

Mackenzie is a Middle Tennessee native, having grown up in Clarksville, TN. She attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate studies and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development. She then continued her education at Vanderbilt School of Nursing and achieved her MSN. She is board-certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She has spent the last six years in Nashville and now calls it home with her husband, Austin.

Mackenzie loves that she has the opportunity to improve the health and well-being of the next generation of leaders. She has a particular interest in the way adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) influence health outcomes, and hopes to help her patients and families mitigate these effects through early recognition and intervention. Mackenzie strives to create positive, open, and trusting relationships with her patients and the families that she serves. She also loves to educate her patients about their health in order to set them up for success as they grow. She is looking forward to being a trusted resource in the Smyrna community and is currently accepting new patients.
